Muñeca Limé is the two-part thesis project constructed by Aszana López-Bell ('21), centering gender, race, and ethnicity to interrogate ideas of Blackness and Black Womanhood in the Dominican Republic. Muñeca Limé included a 24 page written thesis, as well as a metaphorical construction of the Dominican Black Woman in the form of a gown. Photography was taken by Michael Francis Tan (@mikeftan).
